What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a natural form of healthcare that aids the body in using it’s own resources for healing and health. As the spine and structural integrity of the body are maintained, proper healing and maximum function can be obtained. We do not use drugs or surgery, but instead focus on restoring the integrity of the nervous system that controls every part of our bodies.

Structure Determines Function

Everything on this planet is structured in order to gain a desired function. Since structure determines function, if the structure is less than 100%, the function will have to be less than 100%.

The nervous system, consisting of the brain, the spinal cord, and the corresponding nerves, communicate vital information to all body parts. This system is the master controlling and coordinating system of the body. It is used to communicate all body functions.

Subluxation

Subluxation is a misalignment of the spine. It can be slight or a major deviation in the proper position of the spine. If there is a subluxation, the nervous system will be stressed and cause the signals to the muscles, organs, and glands to be compromised. Subluxations can be corrected with chiropractic care, and most of our patients see quick and dramatic changes in their body, pain issues, and energy levels.
